NNC Training Guide 1.5
=================================
There are various ways to train and improve your character as of version 1.5, though we highly encourage NPC and PvP grinding as opposed to log training due to the..additional perks.
Log Training: Go up to the Logs located in each village, and hit them with the 'Hit' command under the training tab (You can macro this as Hit). This is the safest way of training, exp rate is perfect at low levels. Logs deteriorate faster the higher level you get, or the higher your Taijutsu stat becomes.
NPC Hunting: NPCs are scattered around the world, inside villages, and even in hidden caves. Killing various NPCs reward the players with EXP, Ryo, and Exp Scrolls that grant even more exp. There are various tiers of NPCs that give exp when killed:
Wolves - Give between roughly 200 and 600 EXP
Weak Ninja -- Give between roughly 300 and 900 EXP
D-Rank Missing Ninja --
C-Rank Missing Ninja --
B-Rank Missing Ninja --
A Rank Missing Ninja --
Special NPCs act as sub-bosses or bosses and give significantly higher amonuts of exp ranging from 5-7.5k, these are ninjas such as Naruto or the members of the Akatsuki.
It should also be noted that leveling via NPC kills grants the player a superior amount of Chakra, Stamina, and Health as they are leveling up.
PvPing: Defeating other players gives you exp equivalent to half their level and a "Rank" specific bonus value. Without factoring in Rank value, this means the maximum exp you can earn by level alone is 5k (Rank values adjust this upwards to 7.5k or more). Killing a player now makes you receive half the Ryo they are carrying! Bank wisely, my friends.
However, players also have options to train in ways that improve them outside of simply gaining levels.
Weapon Skills: Sword and Thrown Weapons have their own skill stats, which are gained by training on the appropriate tool.
Sword Stumps - Grant exp to your Sword Skill, but you need a sword equipped. The macro/command to train on the sword stumps is Slash.
Fighting NPCs - Attacking enemies that grant experience points will also occasionally boost Sword Skill by granting you Sword exp as well. Obviously, you must have a sword equipped or else no sword exp will be gained...
Throwing Targets - Grant exp to your Throwing Skill, but you'll need throwing weapons. To select which type of weapon you'll throw, the command is found on the HUD labeled "Select" (This can be macro'd as .click Select). Conversely, to throw the weapons you'll need to macro .click Throw. Remember to use the Get Weapons verb to collect your thrown weapons when you are done.*
*Some clans have special chakra-imubed throwing weapons that can be used in place of actual ones. These clans include Gaara, Konan, and Haku as well as possibly one or two others. Setting your weapon to Shuriken causes Gaara and Konan to throw theirs, Hakus need to set it to Senbon.
Chakra Control: This was recently changed; not only does it determine your success at performing a jutsu, but it reduces your chakra costs on Jutsus based on it's current value. To train Chakra Control (CC) you can spam Bunshin/jutsus that use handseals, climb trees, or walk on water.
Mastering Jutsu: Many Jutsu require getting a certain amount of uses to gain additional effects or improvements to their damage modifiers. For example, getting 50 Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu uses causes it to fire off a much larger fireball that can damage multiple targets. The uses of most Jutsus that require mastery (but not all) can be viewed under the Uses Tab.

Kurei's Personal Training Tips
===============================
--Do not waste your respec scroll, it can save you some time realizing that PvP and PvE could potentially benefit from entirely different builds.
--Wolves and Weak Ninja are extremely easy kills, and repop pretty fast. However if they crowd you, the damage could add up significantly.
--Bank Ryo frequently. You earn a lot, and most NPC's attacks count as an actual killing blow, costing you both EXP and Ryo. The time you spend banking, you should also grab some Ramen from the spawn points.
--Chakra Control is key for nin builds. The 500 reduced chakra costs mean you need far less rests while training, which means you can clear out more enemies and have safer recovery times. Heck, even for Tai or Speed builds as some related techniques may consume chakra.
--Do not underestimate Katon techniques while PvEing...
--Less is More, estimate what you can handle based on your max HP and beat a hasty retreat when you hit about 25~50% that way you can handle a few stray hits while running.
